Hello out there on the site. I bought this 1993 850 with 156K Mi on it in Stuttgart, Germany from an abandoned lot for $100.00. Hence my user name. From what the guy at the lot told me, SEVERAL people passed it up because it was sitting on 4 flats and the battery was dead. The flat tires and the battery were new, it had actually been serviced a few months before it was parked. A few hours on the road charged the battery. It has no leaks in the sunroof and the antenna still works! This is my new toy and I've seen the N/A mods I can do. The suspension kit and 18" wheels are in order to handle the sharp turns of the Autobahn. The TB Mod, Cold Air intake (please advise....ECU mod any good for N/A?) are what I'm going to in the near future.

Thanks for letting me creep around the site before I registered...it's already saved me money.

Turtle Wax ICE makes this thing look awesome!

My car is a 1998 Volvo V70 AUTO GLT TURBO Wagon with 176,000 miles. We call him Volvo. Not original, but a tip-of-the-hat to one of our favorite Britcoms, "Waiting for God."

Here's the 74 144 k-jet that i picked up for $150! I took it on it's first drive in more than a year today. It's only gone about 1000 miles in the last 3 years. Here are some pre-wash pics.

Interesting, that looks like a U.S. spec 850... Do you know the history on it?

Was wondering if it was owned by American Military Personell.
Not bad for $100! Nice to see someone else giving a 93" some love.

Ok, 2 yrs ago my 1992 volvo wagon saved me from serious injury when I was stopped and waiting to turn and a 24 foot truck hit me doing about 40 MPH! Ouch. But if not for my "large car" I would be still hurting or worse.

This is a '94 960, the first Volvo I have ever owned. I'm the 2nd owner. I got it from an auction in April of '10 and found out later that the original owner was a retired guy who pretty much only drove it to the golf course. The car is near perfect, in and out, and only had 77000 mi. when I got it.

Other than a couple of minor mechanical issues, the only things I have done to it are tires and Voxx wheels, tint, and painted some trim (mirrors, front lip, grill). It is a great highway cruiser, but I know that I'll never keep up with the turbo guys, so my performance mods will probably focus on handling and getting it a little lower.
