Problem with entering my radio code
I have a 1991 740 with an anti-theft system for the radio. Over the weekend I had my battery changed, and now my radio doesn't work. I called the Volvo dealer and got the code for my radio, but I can't enter the code. The radio is supposed to say "codE" when the code is entered, but instead it says "EEE" - I can't even begin to enter the code. According to my owner's manual, it says "EEE" for two hours after the wrogn code has been entered three times. Therefore, there is no reason why it should say this. It's been like that all day, and I haven't tried entering any codes sicne two days ago. Does anyone have any idea how I can fix it?

You have to actually leave it on for two hours? That's bad. I can't leave my car on for two hours. If I have the car people unhook my battery and hook it up again, then can I put in the code?
