Dodgy window switches.

Can anyone tell me exactley how to pull the drivers window switch apart and make it work again. Is it just junk on the contacts under the rocker switch that stops it working. ? Thats on a 1996 850 centre consol switch.

Yep; usually dirt and stuff gets mixed in with the contact grease and they become non-conductive. Scrape everything off, lightly sand the contact points so they no longer appear burned, and then re-apply a little bit of di-electric grease at the contact points.

I can't tell you how to get the panel out of an 850; on the S70, it just pries out of the door panel with a flathead screwdriver around the edges.
