Hey all, Rob here. I'm looking to pick up a 240 in the next few months. Immediately the car will just be a beater to supplement my somewhat newer Civic, but I hope to eventually turn it into a track car for amateur road racing/time trialling. I figured I'd go ahead and sign up and start doing some research now and get to know some Volvo enthusiasts! I'm looking forward to the acquisition.
Also, I've got an opportunity to get a 780, which I'm considering, but I'll post about that in the appropriate section.

Welcome to the Forum. I am actually in the same boat as you. I am thinking of picking up a 940 turbo wagon. I used to have an S60R but had to trade it in because I was having so many issues with it. I now have a subaru which is a great car but I miss not having a Volvo.
