Hi all,
We've owned our 1995 850 Turbo sedan now for awhile, yet there's always been one thing that has puzzled me... the color. It's a strange sort of orange/copper blend, and I've never in the 10 years of owning the car seen another 850 with this paint job. It has a badge on the back that says, "Gold Edition" and there is in fact gold badges on the trunk, sides, and front of the car. My question to whoever is interested, was this a special edition/package for the '95 model year? And what about the color? Is that in fact a rare and/or desirable color?

Nope, its a tad darker than that. Almost reddish, but not really. It's the damnedest thing to describe.

That's the color. That isn't my exact car of course, but it took some scouring of the internet to find that.

That colour is called Autumn Gold, its not very common.

That color is MUCH nicer than the 'saffron' on the V70R/C70 or the yellow on the T5-R. I wonder why they never made more in that color?'98 S70 T5

And that's why I drive Silver. Although, I did consider Sonic Blue for a while.
Then I saw one in a parking lot that really needed to be buffed out.

This is a beautiful color! Maybe when I finally get around to taking care of my '75 164E I'll switch to this from Andes Metallic Copper.
