Do a voltage test to see if there is a draw.

Old thread alert...adding to this one rather than starting new
My 1999 T5 occasionally throws the ABS and P1550 code which clears after a few cycles. The speedo also sometimes quits when this happens. I have a business card with rpm/mph conversion on my dash o I don't get a speeding ticket as backup.
I have a ignition switch on order from IPD and will replace that to see if that clears it up, otherwise I'll get a rebuilt ABS from Matty Moo.
