Got a chance today to take a look at the hoses. The Hose around the the 7th bracket wasn't trapped. I let loose all the hoses and the car idled for 10 min then stopped. The same issue I had was back again!!!. I disconnected the MAF sensor and it ran without stalling, when I reconnect the sensor back again, the engine would stall. 1. maybe I need to replace the MAF sensor?.2. What is the best way to check for leaking vacuum hoses?

I did not have to spend too much time on my V70. Finally the check engine light goes out by itself. had to change the air mass filter and changed the GAS CAP ( this is something that most people forget). installed all new lower mounts $86. already added 1K miles on it. drove it for 2hrs trip @ 75mph and this gem sounds good. replaces my abs module $10, brand new batt $18. my goal is to spend no more than $2K in purchasing vehicle and buying parts including new paint end of may( before it gets too hot) having problems posting pics though. will try drive it to over 700k miles on original engine and tranny. :D :)

For 700K miles, it's a $3500 car you haven't fully paid for yet... maybe $3000, since you seem to be good at scavenging.

If you stay on top of the timing belt and fluid/filter changes. Note which one I mentioned first.
2012 C70 T5 Platinum, ember black on cranberry leather
2006 S60 2.5T AWD, ice white on oak textile
5 others that came and went
