I'm about to embark upon replacing the actuator motor on my 2000 S40. Did you have any luck calibrating it yourself?

Yes, if you follow the PDF directions above the damper motor should calibrate correctly when you turn the key to the correct position. I also describe the procedure here https://www.matthewsvolvosite.com/forums ... =8&t=34858

Thanks for your help, Doc. Got a used motor at a junker and it wors fine...today!

Now if I could only get rid of the buzzing I hear on acceleration...
