Brian there are bolts holding the regulator which is the metal place. You also have to remove the clips which connect the regulator to the window glass. This way you can get to the bolts on the inside of the motor.
Could i ask why your going after the motor? Usually the window regulator switch goes on these models first before the motors.

when i took off the panel i could not tell how to take out the motor(just to have the info).
it is the switch as the windoe will go down some times but not up, to put it up do i just send 12volts the other way?

I would check the switch.. and most likely replace it. The resistance is greater when it goes up than down.
After you find another switch and it continues the problem then replace the motor.
As I said before.. the 70 Series switch is known to fail specially the drivers over all other switches in the car when you consider how many times the drivers window goes up and down. Even if it not the switch you wont go wrong getting a spare.
One way of checking this is run the engine and rev the engine a bit higher to increase the power to the switch when you try moving the window up.

Yes - And be sure that the switch is unplugged when you do.smokingslash wrote:hi
