C70 Inside Air Filter Location and Changing

We have a 2000 red C70 with a tan cloth top. We don't see too many of them - I think there are two in our town and we moved from where the Volvo dealership was so it is very inconvenient to get their service. I will start doing some repair on my own because we REALLY want to try to keep the car. I am glad to find this forum for help. I have been told there is an inside air filter for the A/C or heater that should be changed or cleaned. Could you please tell me where is it and how do I get to it to either change or clean? Thank you for your help.

Open the hood, at the base of the windshield on the passenger side (on North American models) you'll see a cover. Open that and there is the filter.

Or not! Some cars came with it and some didn't. My 850 didn't. Either way you can order one and pop it in there. Try my sponsor (click banner ad above) or another online Volvo parts retailer for this part.
