radiator replacement
If I am to pull the radiator down through the bottom, how high do the ramps have to be to pull the 1998 xc70 auto/turbo radiator have to be ?

not as high as you think. IT will go down and you can move it under the engine itself. If you prefer you could use ramps and that should do.

I don't know if the 6 5/8" is how far they get it up off the ground? They're not terribly tall, but give you enough room to get under there and work.

Note the C70 has one extra reinforcement V bar on the engine cage/frame which you have to remove to get the radiator out.
