radiator replacement

radiator replacement

If I am to pull the radiator down through the bottom, how high do the ramps have to be to pull the 1998 xc70 auto/turbo radiator have to be ?

not as high as you think. IT will go down and you can move it under the engine itself. If you prefer you could use ramps and that should do.

I have these, and they gave me just enough room to get it out.

I don't know if the 6 5/8" is how far they get it up off the ground? They're not terribly tall, but give you enough room to get under there and work.

Im replacing my 2000 C70 radiator- do you have an easy tutorial i can check my haynes against?

Note the C70 has one extra reinforcement V bar on the engine cage/frame which you have to remove to get the radiator out.

+1 on oil changing ramps.
