These cars are extremely rare and I have debated as to even selling it. I purchased this car after carefully searching for a clean well maintained "R" model. I have owned the vehicle for over 7 years. I have taken exceptional care of this vehicle as the photos will indicate. This VOLVO has always had Mobil 1 oil changes every 4,000 miles with only VOLVO mann oil filters, along with Shell premium 93 octane gas. The transmission was completely flushed and filled every 30,000 miles with Mobil 1 ATF. The vehicle is in need of a head gasket repair. 259,813 miles
Exterior: All original VOLVO paint on every panel. All original VOLVO glass. Meguiars Next Generation Tech wax twice a year or more as needed. There is a slight dent on the passenger rear quarter panel which can be repaired with paintless dent repair. There are a few scratches on the front and rear bumpers and a small tear in the front valance. Overall the condition is excellent given the mileage and age.
Interior: All original never smoked in. Original floor mats as well as weatherproof mats included to protect front floor mats. Memory power drivers and passenger seats with heat. Power windows and doors. Dual climate control. Sunroof. There is slight wear in the drivers seat bolsters and that is the only issue with the interior. I recently replaced the evaporator as well as the heater core and fan blower motor assembly. $1600.00 plus
Suspension: : Vogtland progressive springs and Bilstein dampeners combined with IPD increased diameter anti-sway bars and heavy duty sway bar end links. Stainless steel braided brake lines. All rear delta link ( independent rear suspension ) bushings have been replaced as well. Newer OEM control arms and tie rod ends. Michelin V rated touring tires.
Exhaust: Stainless Steel professional custom 2.5 inch free flowing from turbo to exhaust tip. Metal monolithic catalytic converter. This system is quiet and very responsive. It has a low sound without that annoying drone that so many aftermarket exhausts create.
Engine / Trans: All original engine that has been meticulously maintained. Prior to head gasket damage this car idled smooth and did not smoke under acceleration or start up. Newer OEM radiator/heater hoses/coolant hoses/spark plugs/ignition wires/ distributor cap and rotor button. Silicone intercooler hoses. Flow cleaned and balanced fuel injectors. PCV system complete replacement OEM. Timing belt repaired every 70,000 miles with new pulleys and idlers at 210,000 miles as well as new OEM water pump. Computer management chip which supports 16 pounds of boost. I have driven this car with the boost set at 16 pounds since 100,000 miles and the car has run flawlessly. I never abuse my vehicles.
Audio and extras: Alpine head unit 4 volt preout with XM and Subwoofer controls. Rockford Fosgate 4x50 amp driving Boston Acoustics 5.25 components in front and 6x9 rear deck speakers. Rockford Fosgate mono amp 1x300 driving a Boston Acoustics Pro 10" subwoofer in a custom sealed box. All quality cables and professional instillation. Boost gauge for turbo custom mounted in drivers A pillar.
