volvo 850 advice

i have a 1995 volvo 850 nonturbo..it has around 200,000 miles on it..when i 1st got the car i noticed that it would idle rough. it would almost come to the point of stalling. so i took it to a mechanic and he said it was the maf sensor so i replaced it//it ran fine after that for about a year..now the same symptoms came back..the idle is rough and actually stalls sometimes..mainly when coming to a stop or when just idling..when im driving the car sometimes jerks when i let off the accelrator..i was told to unplug the maf when its idiling rough to see if it smooths out and it doesnt..so im guessing its not the maf..ive recently replaced the fuel pump, ignition coil, tps, spark plugs, distributor cap rotor, and plug wires..im fairly new to cars so any advice would help..


ps i recently hooked it up to a computer and i gave a code saying 02 sensor bank1 running too lean and too rich..it had that code twice..

There are a number of things that can cause your problem but we need a tad more information on the parts that you have replaced. Specifically, what were the brand names of the replacement parts that you have used? Be even more specific on the exact spark plugs that you used and did you gap them?

Volvos are real picky on parts and even more picky on things like sensors, ignition wires, and spark plugs. The local auto parts store may say they are fine but in most cases they won't run worth a damn.

What are the specific codes that you pulled from ports A-2 and A-6?
