Windshield wipers won't park (go at rest)
Windshield wipers won't park (go at rest)
Hello: I have a 2001 S40 Volvo and my windshield wipers won't go in park position. Wherever I turn them off is where they stay. I have already replaced the motor & control switch, still having same problem. I'm at my wits end with this because I can't pass inspection due to this issue. I would appreciate any help/advice offered. Thank you.

Out of my stomach I would say that your CEM (Central Electronic Module) is faulty.
Where are you from and are you replacing the parts yourself or do you need to go to a work shop?

PS: I might have a spare part, if you are interested shoot me a message

Hello! Thank you soooo much for responding. I have been fixing the car on my own (I'm a little lady who's handy with a screwdriver). I am located in the US (Maryland to be exact). I would be interested in your spare part if my location doesn't deter you.

Got two CEM's from the junkyard, tried them both and the wipers still wont go into "rest"
Maybe the relay?
