S40 t5 - help with airconditioning problem needed

Has anyone had a problem with airconditioning suddenly not working? Refrigerant has been topped up; no leaks. Car just out of warranty. Could be a pricey problem to fix. Garage implies they have been having problems with condensers. Any information out there folks?

Same issue - 2004 S40 2.4L - R134a topped off - A/C will run fine for about 10-15 minutes after car cools off - then, warm air.

It would have saved you a little bit of time to read a few of the posts already on this forum. there was a lengthy one only a couple of threads down from this one, labeled "A/C starts off cold then blows warm".

Hope this helps. The very last post on that thread has a link to another forum where someone discusses how to remove a shim to fix the issue. You might also try googleing the issue. I did that and found a few different forums where people had already talked in length about this problem.
