no lights on shifter?

I dont have any light that shows when you are in PRND on the stick shift...... Is this an easy fix? Any DIY pics?
Also, right side of speedometer and left side of the RPM gauge lights are out.

The lamp socket for the shifter light is a unique socket and they are stupid expensive from the dealer. I have fixed mine by soldering in new lamps from Radio Shack - part number 272-1092 - into the old OEM lamp base. They run around $2.00 for a 2 pack. The ring around the cigarette lighter uses the same lamp so I replace both of them while I had the console off.

A Dremel tool with a cutoff wheel makes nipping the old lamp wires very quick and easy and then you can thread the leads back though the OEM holes in the base.

Thanks for the input. Just finished, but I don't like the way you just shove the bulb up into a plastic hole. It's all buttoned up now but I wish I had put some tape around the socket to hold it in place. Seems like over time gravity may push it out.. And you say: it was in there for 13 years and it didn't fall out so why now! I say: Murphy's Law...
