wheel hub

Post by bumpbump57 »

I have a 94' 940 turbo. While replacing a rusted out protector plate the race from the inside bearing came through the Hub. I am trying to put it back, but, I am thinking I should just buy a new Hub. What do think?
Thanks for the reply.

THANKS PETEK153, I did just what you suggested and bought one from FCPgroton. Just got back from vacation and now how to put everything together. I bought two replacement brake lines also and I am now searching for a ABS bleeder.
thanks again

I just use a helper to bleed the system the old fashioned way. Pump the brakes up crack the bleeder with a clear hose attached watch for bubbles ,tighten bleeder before pedal is released then repeat till all air is out. Start with farthest away from master cylinder first make sure you don't run out of fluid or you'll have to start again.

One word of advice on brake bleeding: disconnect the vacuum check valve from the brake booster while bleeding.

The old fashion way is the only way I know how to bleed brakes. Thanks for the advice and the advice on the vacuum check valve. I saw an ABS brake bleeder for $58 is it worth it? I have two 94' 940 turbos. thanks
