AC Compressor

Post by dimasp28 »

Hi everyone !!! I own a '95 850 glt, a year ago I change the AC compressor ( bought used from Erie Volvo), it works great but few days ago I noticed that if I stop in a trafic light or go slow (less than 2000 rpm) it stops cooling, beside that it works great. I went to a AC shop and the guy told me that the system has gas but I need to change the compressor. Is he right ? He also said that it can't be repair. I'm in fort lauderdale, Fl., and the summer is starting so I'll like to see what options I have. :?
Thanks

The clutch is worn on that compressor, but it just needs to be shimmed.

Search the site for "clutch gap shim fix"
