Got the dreaded blinking arrow but tranny was shifting fine...cleaned out the gunk in the throttle switch at the firewall and all is good. I really need to donate some cash to this site...it's saved me bundles. I will, I will...

Today, I bleed the brakes with new ATE Blue Racing fluid. It does look very good and can see the mark (max) level without my glasses. While underneath, inspected the fron and rear suspension. Not surprising, one rear shock and one front strut leaks. So after the timing belt task, I'll save enough to do most all (90%) of the suspension. The upper engine mount was replace serveral years ago with IPD HD bushing. The lower engine mount looks suspect, (will change), transmission mount fair (will change), control arm (right) suspect, (left was replaced last year), tie-end rods, suspect, endlinks (new IPD HD), anti-sway T5 factory sports (trashed) and I do have new (Polys) for that. I did notice an oil leak coming from near the waterpump area on the outside the timing-belt cover. With the new TB kit (with seals( that should cover it. Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Today, re-program the HD TCV and tested. Works much better now. I'm of replacing the OEM CBV or change the spring down from red to blue and re-test.

Inspected the front end to find the source of an intermittent clunk while braking. While I was under there, I decided to remove, clean and re-grease the caliper slide pins, and I drained and refilled my transmission with Mobil 3309 (yeah it's the five-speed so I gotta use the special stuff)

All in all it went pretty well except I think I need new sway bar endlinks and new brake hoses...

Yesterday, changed the EVAP hoses (both), and today SAS check valve. The hardest/longest time I experienced with the EVAP were removing the factory clamps. After removal of hoses and inspection, I did see cracks from normal wear/tear. I recommend replacement of these hoses.
