s80 Transmission reputation

I just got my '01 s80 and so far I like it. I have heard the transmissions are not great so before I invest alot of time and effort into the car I would like to know what to expect from the transmission. The car is not a AWD. Any info or help would be greatly appreciated.

99 S80T6 250,00 miles. Rebuilt tranny about 50,000 miles ago. I do a tranny flush once a year and every other year replace the filter. Just gave the car to my son. We did a top end rebuild after we lost an exhaust valve. Cheers.
