Increasing awareness in the UK

Post by rrm »

Watchdog is a consumer rights program in the UK and last week broadcast a feature on the Volvo ETM problem. This was broadcast at a peak time nationally so has hopefully helped create greater awareness in the UK. A summary of the report can be found at:

I am certainly appalled at Volvo's handling of the whole situation to date. I paid a premium price for a car that I felt would ensure my family were safe on the roads only to find it may potentially be one of the riskiest cars available. Are Volvo really going to wait until serious injury or death is caused before issuing a recall?
