1999 s70 AWD ABS part number?

Hi folks,

I apologize if I've posted this in the wrong section. I bought a 1999 s70 AWD a few months ago and was having problems with the speedometer and cruise not working so I took it back to the dealer and he "fixed" it...twice. Anyway, I need a new ABS unit and I'd like to get one from ipd. The problem is that I'm not sure which unit to get because none of the cross reference numbers match the current unit I have in. The part number of the unit in there is 9472650. Is this even the correct unit for my model? Any advice on what part number I should look for in the new ABS unit would be greatly appreciated.

Don't buy a new one. All that's happened is the solder joints inside the module have failed.

Shoot this guy an email. He fixes them all the time for much less $ than it will cost you to buy a new one.

Part # 8622097 (ABS w/ TRACS)

Cross reference: 8672093, 9472100, 9472650, 9496450, 8628242

I opened my ABS Unit but found nothing wrong in the circuits etc.
After a 10h of frustration and time wasted, I got a rebuilt ABS Module from BBA-reman.com for $120.
Four (4) years later, still good.
Backed by L.T. warranty by BBA-reman.

What he said.....6 different part numbers, all the exact same part. So, you could replace yours with any of those numbers.

Thanks for the help everyone. I guess I was more concerned with confirming that the unit currently in there is for an s70 so I had the proper part number for the cross reference. The dealer wasn't reliable or professional, so I wouldn't be surprised if he threw an incorrect unit in there.

Some of the 99's come with STC, some come with TRACS and some are AWD and use a TRACS module. Some just have plain ABS...there isn't much rhyme or reason to it.
