Can anyone help me please. My 850 acts like it is not getting fuel once the engine is at running temp.
I have replaced the fuel filter, fuel pump, idle control valve, and mass air flow sensor. I am at wits end. I really want to get her on the road again. It has been a great car till last week.
850 stalls once at running engine temp.

IIRC, it's the red one. Should be near the top. It should be marked "fuel pump relay" or something to that effect.

HELP, I have replaced the fuel pump relay, $130bucks and no change.
cleaned the FT. and car runs great till normal engine temp.
If I give it light gas. it will run, but if I put too much pressure on the gas, then the car sounds like it is starving for fuel and engine quits. I will not restart till engine cools a bit. I am not sure what else to do.
I have done everything except the O2 sensor and the cam sensor.
does any one have an idea.
Thanks,
desperate volvo driver.

Vacuum lines? In an unlikely scenario the engine could be heating the lines up to a temp where a crack or cracked elbow gets large enough to introduce extra air into the mix. A guess.

I agree with Matthew on the grounds that heavy throttle pressure is what kills it. Especially take a good look at the vacuum elbow on the passenger side of the intake manifold (assuming this is a turbo model).
