I just bought a 2005 T5 AWD with over 250,000 miles. Does anyone here have one with miles anywhere close? Wondering what if any major parts you have replaced. This is my first S40. What are the trouble spots on this model?

Wow, that's a lot of miles for that new of a car, might be a record for the site. Has the timing belt been changed? That's probably the only major worry if it hasn't been. It should have been replaced with in the last 50K miles. If it's running fine other the timing belt, you're probably fine. I am assuming that the fluids; coolant, oil, tranny fluid, brake fluid, power steering fluid , etc. are in good shape. If not those should be inspected and changed if needed. My neighbor has a 2004 S40 w/150K miles and hasn't had any issues. He's just done the maintenance above. Good Luck

My 2005 2.4i S40 has almost 120,000mi on it. So i'm less than half way there, but i've had to replace the suspension, A/C Compressor, and a few belts.
