This is what the competition is doing.

http://volvoforums.com/forum/sale-trade ... ale-46110/

That is a nearly dead forum but it doesn't look bad.

Somehow the Prancing Moose needs to get involved but I'm sure that Dave Barton would get Irritated.

I have no problems with inside stickers. I like the full color/full name transparent look. I'd be happy to have a freeby and I'd be happy to pay for one (I think....how much??).

I agree with jblackburn on this one but I think the 'inside glass' would be an appealing way to espouse our allegiance
I am re-painting my 850 wagon and the prev owner had put stickers on the paint (SUX 5000). I like the idea of advertising the site and like the aspect of using a sticker to do so on the glass on the outside. I will be tinting my windows too and like the idea of having the clean look of a sticker on the outside of the glass.

I'm getting quotes (and samples) on 12x3" (30x7.5 cm) transparent vinyl stickers that go on the outside of the glass. I'll keep you updated.

Thanks for the input, everyone.

I agree with you 100%. On a personal note, when I see the euro logos that I don't know or cant figure out the meaning of I often find myself googling them. I would consider that a form of advertisement.

On second thought, why would one need or want to advertise for a site in which only caters to Volvo enthusiasts? Seems to me we already found it. I guess you could consider the stickers a form of MVS support rather than advertisement.

I could... once I set up a price list. Lemme work on that in the next few days. Ruminate on it, if you will.

Suggestions welcome. I'm thinking two for $5, free postage in the US, just as a starting point. PayPal (which does accept credit cards without having to create a PayPal account) and personal checks accepted.

Three for $20 if you want MVS Contributor status and stickers.

I'm not going to try to make money off these, btw. Just a) cover costs b) make some money for hosting & server admin and c) help get the MVS brand out there by you guys putting them on your Volvos.
