I have a 1993 850, 5 cylinder ...
It drives for about 20 minutes and dies. Usually have to wait about 10 minutes to half hour for it to start and run and again, and even then, it will only run for about 5-10 more minutes.
The fuel filter and fuel pump have been changed.
Any help and/or suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

The fuel pump relay comes to mind. The fuel pump relay is relay 103 and it is located below the fuse box cover. Remove that relay and identify pins 15 and 87. From there you can use a jumper wire or even a paper clip to jumper between the socket positions associated with pins 15 and 87 on the relay. If the car runs normally after that then chances are the relay is bad.

Having exactly the same problem with my 1997 S70 T5. I suspect its the MAF, I changed the fuel relay with another used one but the problem is still there. I'll be checking it over the weekend and will let you know. Might be a good idea to clean the MAF before replacing it.

I would check the positive battery terminal to make sure it is clean and tight. If it feels hot, it is not making a good low resistance electrical connection and should be cleaned and tightened. It would be a good idea to check the B+ cable connections at the alternator and starter too. Good luck!

Is check engine light on?

@ Misha, The check engine like comes on when you start it and shuts off after a few minutes.

Check engine light tells you that there is a problem & service light is just an oil change reminder.
Service light is the one which is on when you start the car and after a few minutes it shuts off.
