There are many Genuine Volvo Springs available for my car, according to this site:

Can anyone enlighten me as to what the colour/letter codes translate to? An excerpt:

I've been looking for overload springs, similar to what IPD carries for the 240/740/940 series, but can't find any.
Thanks...

For the record, IPD used to sell overload springs for the 850, too. I have a pair on my wagon and they are great. But they stopped selling them. There is a good chance they still know the ratings on those overload springs and could set you up. But you would end up paying IPD prices which are usually on the high side ...
