2004 S80 A/C Blower

Everything on the Volvo S80. Sometimes called an "executive car", the S80 was Volvo's top-of-the-line passenger car. P2 platform.

I have the same problem with a 2001 S80. 288,886 miles on it. I have the A/C blower turned all the way on, and only switch the A/C on when it blows. If it stops blowing, then I turn the A/C button off (as a precaution). I noticed that it will blow more in the summer months using the A/C than in the winter when the heater is needed. If the motor continues to blow long enough (sometimes stays on when the car is shut off) after I turn the car off, then when I restart it - there is a good possibility that the whole console goes dark. The only thing that works in the center is the cigarette lighters - nothing else. I tried to diagnose a little further - just a word of caution - (only I can't remember which fuse) do NOT pull out the fuse, as it will mess up the air bags and you will get that error message each time - and the air bags will not work. (Sorry I can't remember which fuse).
Didn't mean to take over - just trying to see if yours is having similar issues.
