I got three of the screws off and the last one is stripped. What's the best way to remove a stripped screw? I heard not to grind them off. Any advice would be appreciated.
Thank you!

use a dremel and notch the top of the screw so that a flat head will fit and then remove the bolt. Done.

I wonder if you can use a dremel under there, too little space?

Ya I went out and bought a dremel I'm gonna give it a shot tomm after work.. Atleast the bolt that is stripped is the one on the top left easiest one to get to anyways.. Hope the dremel works!!

You lucked out. It's almost always the bolt on the bottom near the firewall that strips.

just dont dremel so far as to destroy the bolt. you just need a tiny little notch to fit the end of the flat head. then contact mattymoo for a replacement. Had a good exp. with him on another forum.

( Just make sure to send your core back or suffer the wrath)

Before doing that, you might want to clean the two connectors first really well with contact cleaner. Cleaning the contact solved my problem for now.
