ECC issues, out of options, anyone nearby got a code reader?

WHOO HOO! Sweetie was going to the auto parts store for stuff for *his* cars, and we picked up an aftermarket blower there on spec. I just put it in and it works! It's a little bit louder and higher pitched than the original, but I need something *NOW*. Sweetie gave the one I removed a spin and thinks the bearing are OK, and says that he'll take it apart later and see if there are brushes or something he can rebuild. Or I'll buy the RIGHT part from one of the vendors I've seen on this site. But this became time critical, I need functioning climate control tomorrow, so no time to order.

The aftermarket blower doesn't have the "clip" area to hold the wiring cables that go around the blower (the one that powers the blower clips in fine) but they snug up against it and seem to be OK.

For anyone who thinks this is hard to do.....I just removed the glovebox/panels, installed and tested the blower, and reinstalled the panels and tidied up... in 29 minutes. With a cheap little "True Value' toolkit that I've had, like, forever.

Y'all have created a monster, now! I'm going to try and fix the window switches next.
