2000 S80 T6 transmission making noise going into 2nd

I have a 2000 S80 and after first start up or after it has sat untouched for 3 or 4 hours, the transmission just started making a sound like a quick mettalic buzz going into the first shift only(2nd gear). It only seems to do it once after a cold start up and doesn't do it once it warms up. Does anyone have any suggestions on what this may be or any experience?????

I'm having the same problem except it starts when I start the car and am idling. Its like a grinding sound that increases in pitch with RPM. Mostly happens with cold start and first 10 minutes of driving at low speeds or idle.

Any ideas?

I've got the same problem in my 1999 S70 T5...can anyone shed some light on this? Is it something that needs to be fixed ASAP? It's an annoyance for sure, but if it not broken, I'll save it for the 90K tuneup. Thanks.
