brake/stop lights
have left & right brake light outage. center works. i have downloaded electrical distribution & component locator diagrams. owner manual indicates only 1 brake light fuse. a previous post here indicates a # 14. is that a fuse or relay. I have no fuse in the 14 slot. is a previous post getting fuses & relays confused?? according to the diagrams, there are 2 relays, 15 and 7? the 2 diagrams are the same layout, but everything is labeled differently when comparing them. car has new rotors, pads, tires, brakes. airbag light, abs, on etc etc... now this. 2001 S80

If the center one is working it should eliminate a lot of the choices as you have power going all the way to the rear. Have you tried a test light or voltmeter at the sockets to see if you have power? Have you tried a new bulb?

the fuse listed in the owner manual is good. swapped fuse, swapped bulbs. haven't gotten to the meter or test lite yet. have a feeling it may be a relay, if there are 2 relays, or if only one relay, left & right circuit must be separate from the center light.
