PCV cleaning on 2000 s80 t6

Everything on the Volvo S80. Sometimes called an "executive car", the S80 was Volvo's top-of-the-line passenger car. P2 platform.

PCV cleaning on 2000 s80 t6

Post by sparro »

Hello,

Today I began to remove parts from the top. I understand that I have to remove fuel rail system and intake manifold, to get to oil trap.

Could anyone provide instruction on removing the fuel rail? (Picture attached.) I was told to turn the blue knob in the middle with cloth, to catch dripping fuel first.

- Any things to watch out for draining fuel?
- Which ones and where should I unscrew?

I read Vadis instruction but it was not too detailed.

Also I would appreciate full instruction in following steps.

On my '99 there was nothing to turn to separate the fuel pump. I had to use a tool from Autozone. I think it was $7. AC and fuel line separator tool.

Looks something like this:
