All,
My 1998 V70 GLT has the ABS and Track lights on. Both lights are intermittent. For no apparent reason they come on and go off. It does not feel like the ABS is off when the light comes on but not totally sure. A local garage looked for codes and found none. He checked the transmission and found none. Anyone seen this type of behavoir before with their Volvo?

Really common problem, just did mine a while back on 98 v70. You most likley need a rebuit abs module. There is a bunch of info in the repair data base, you can take it apart and re-solder yourself or order a rebuild.. I got mine from a member Mattymoo, who rebuilds them exchange for about $80 and even sends you an extra socket to do the job. The whole job took me maybe an hour. DONT take it to a dealer or they will quote some HUGE prices for repair, over $1000 good luck

When REPAIRED properly and not just replaced, it should last the life of the car

I'm pretty sure that Mattmoo gives a lifetime warranty with the ones he does
