I just got a 2000 S80 that was a recovered stolen vehicle. I have most all of the parts that i need to put it back together, except i have no information on the wiring for the driver and passenger seat. The wires were just cut inside the bundle, now i have to solder them back together. Most of the wires are color coded, so that's clear, however there are 2 black wires, does it matter which plug that black wire connects to? I used a multi-meter and when probing both blacks i see they complete a circuit, so i assume they both just go to ground. However when i connected all the wires turn the key to the on position, i can hear the seat click, but no movement and the seat heaters still don't work. I have not looked, but it may be a wiring harness that i can get from a yard, but does anybody have any info on the colors of each wire and what it controls?
Thanks.
Eric.
