Hard Starting 98 V70

Post by Tall Grille »

I have a 1998 V70. I finally got the CEL off by replacing the two vacume lines off the charcoal canister. But the car still starts hard. It cranks for 4-6 seconds and then when it fires it stumbles a little bit and smells like it is burning very rich, the exhaust smells like spray paint. This happens weather the car is warm or cold, weather it has been sitting for 5 minutes or two days. I was thinking it could be the coolant temp sensor but the temp doesn't affect it. Any ideas?
