1995 VOLVO 850 T-5R YELLOW SPOTTED FOR SALE in Phoenix, AZ
1995 VOLVO 850 T-5R YELLOW SPOTTED FOR SALE in Phoenix, AZ
Potentially Beautiful Rare Yellow 850 spotted in Phoenix. Don't know how this car ended up here but it has been in the wrong place. This car looks like it had a very good life indoors in the right hands until recently. In the right hands with the right detailing to the right volvo addict who knows how to do the right tinkering this car could be near perfect looking. It does not appear to have had any accidents, bodywork, or paintwork ever! It appears to have an entirely original coat of the rare Mellow Yellow that makes this model so collectable. Only 185 yellow 850s were ever imported to the US. Of those about only 50 were wagons and of the 185 one could ponder how many are actually left that weren't wrecked, crushed, destroyed, or driven to the ground. People get mixed up with global number of about 2000 ever built in yellow all the time. This car needs a proper hand wax, polish and seal and it could look near perfect. It did not appear to have any buffer burns or swirl marks to fix. The front airdam was intact in one piece without cracks or damage. Exterior was dent free and could have been flawless until it got what appears to be some recent car lot dings. Those look like they could be fixed with professional paintless ding repairs. The stupid looking black out tailights are the original stock that were sprayed recently by the sellers attempt to coolify the car. Those are easily replaced with about $40.00 of new old stock from any salvage yard to restore the authenticity of the car. Interior leather and suede appears very clean and in excellent condition with minimal wear on surface seating. Can't speak to any of the mechanicals since the car has been locked up behind bars while it appears the dealer is preping it for sale....I have seen quite a few postings on people longing for one of these and thought someone would like to know who wants to save a very straight looking RARE YELLOW 850 T-5R in restoreable to show or collect condition before it falls into the wrong hands. Don't contact me...Search Craigslist or online for the dealers posting in Phoenix, AZ

I am currently selling mine and i live in Phoenix. I posted mine on craigslist a month ago but for some reason it was flagged. I haven't posted it there since. I've posted it here but no one seems to be interested other than a guy named Jim. I am really hoping someone will buy from me soon or i will be forced to trade it in. Chapman BMW is giving me $2k for it buti just can't. I will let it go much lower than my asking price to someone that will take care of it.

It must be unusual to have two different yellow 1995 Volvo 850 t-5r's in the same city for sale at the same time. I have seen yours cruisin the freeway and it looks good too. I am sure someone who knows what these cars are capable of will pick yours up and if they have the means will buy yours and the other one that is advertising under 96,000 miles on it. I would say both are good for a volvo fanatic in the US or abroad...they would be great for someone who has the time, space, and interest in em...good luck

Hi guys, the car Voloco is talking about is probably the one at the small dealership on Cave Creek Road. I stopped to look at it a few months ago before they took it off CL. It has potential, however, when I looked at it it looked like it had been owned by a teenager and driven hard. The interior dash had velcro holding the glovebox door closed, the rear speakers in the deck had been replaced and rewired, and the previous owner had painted the intercooler pipes, fuel rail cover, and other engine parts red. The dealer was getting ready to rebuild the engine, so they may have replaced these parts to bring it back to a sellable state. The dealership guy was nice and talked to me for a while about it, and he said it wasn't driveable at the time. The paint was in good condition though
