1995 Volvo 850 Yellow T5R $3750

Post by rommel0915 »

I really hate to do this but time to get a bigger vehicle. A rare opportunity for someone looking to get their hands on this rare beauty. It is my daily driver (80 miles a day) in Arizona heat! Never left me stranded. Honestly, it really sucks typing this ad.
Time to upgrade so i'm selling my 95 Volvo 850 Yellow T5R. Car has about 205k miles but runs excellent. Clean title. Everything works including heat and A/C. Never overheats. Please do some research about this specific model to see how rare this is. I've meticulously maintained this car. I apologize for the pics since i took it with my phone. Will try to post better pics soon. FYI, the paint is not faded.

Recent maintenance/repairs done in the last 6 months (have receipts):
Full tune up (Bosch Copper plugs, Bosch distributor cap,Bosch rotor, Bougicord wires, Mann air filter,Bosch fuel filter)
Transmission flush (Drain and Fill with Valvoline DexMerc)
Thermostat Replaced
Cabin Air filter replaced (Mann)
Oil Change 2 weeks ago with Mobil 1 Synthetic 10w-30 and Mann oil filter
New rear rotors and pads
New rear shocks (Sachs Boge - OEM)
Autometer boost gauge and A/F ratio in pillar
Engine coolant flushed
Serpentine belt replaced (Continental)
Brand new Ignition Switch (Volvo)
Replaced all vacuum lines

Few issues:
NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT or ABS/TRAC LIGHTS issue (common problem with 850's)
NO PCV issues/smoking coming out of oil dipstick (cleaned IAC valve and PTC nipple)
Slight oil leak (I add less than a quart every 5k miles) - this is suppose to be my next project
Front bumper is cracked at the bottom ( It was like that when i bought it)
May need new front tires soon

I've found that the oil leak is coming from lower oil cooler line and axle/transmission seal.

Clean Autocheck!

Please don't force me to sell it to just anyone on craigslist or worst the dealer. :(

Just a clarification...my car does not burn oil at all. Oil added is solely because of the the oil leak and honestly one quart is exaggerated. I have the replacement cooler lines that i will give to the new owner.

$3000 before the weekend or will get traded at the dealership.

Please call me at 623-255-6733. Thanks!

LAST CHANCE ON THIS T5R......$2500.00!!!!!! I don't think you'll ever find a yellow one in good running condition in this price and clean Autocheck. I am basically paying the shipping costs if based on my original asking price. We are going to the dealer tomorrow. :x :( Call me at 623-255-6733.

So sorry about your car! Timing is everything and had it been right for me I would have been there cash in hand and driven it home to Oregon. But with my leg and foot in a cast....well, just the wrong time. I hope you sold it to a good future owner. Dang!!

You are correct about timing...a lot of inquiries but still no cash on my hand. :)

Did you ever look into shipping to the east coast? I'm in Philly.

Your post indicate that you bought this less than 10 months ago for $1500. Why are you selling so soon?
