Clutch pedal on 1998 S70?

Post by zepol »

Sorry, for this second posting today. I forgot to add to the last one.
Anyway is there a after market clutch pedal replacement for the standard tranny on a S70 Volvo? Seems that the pedals (clutch and brake) are to close together. Any ideas out there to mod the clutch pedal to move it over a little?
Or is it just my imagination that they are close together?
Thanks!

They don't seem so close IMO, at least not any moreso than any other manual tranny cars I've driven. The only thing you could do if it really bothered you that much would be expensive and labor intensive (i.e. having a new pedal machined that was offset a couple inches from the old one). It would probably run you a few hundred bucks though.
