What if you have more than one computer and use a variety?
For instance...the one at home I'm using now: Win2000
Thinkpad I use for work: WinXP
Several other older thinkpads I sometimes use: Win98 and Linux.

I voted for Win2K because that's what I'm on now.

I am running Windows 98 Second Edition on my old Dell Inspirion 7000 Laptop. I have had only a couple of problems with viruses.

I purchased a used IBM ThinkPad T30. I am in the process of wiping the harddrive and installing Windows XP Pro. I am nervous that I will be spending the rest of my life dowloading software patches.

This was most likely a post created by a spam bot.

So where's the spam/offer? The spam comes on the user's profile web page entry. In this case it was for some sort of search web page. The surprising thing is how advanced they're getting: registration followed by posting a poll, no less

I deleted the account as I usually do with spam, but this thread I'm locking instead of deleting so you guys know what happened.
