I can't seem to find anyone on ebay that is sells a standard wheel bolt that will fit the original steel wheels of a 1998 volvo s70 as they are all bolts for alloy wheels which are the thinner ones, none of my local garages have any.
Can someone point me in the right direction?

Welcome to the forum!
Explain "thinner ones" - they should be the same since they bolt into the same hub, right?

Yeah, I think so too - the hub bearings are the same for all of the cars regardless of what wheels you have on the car.

Old school aftermarket alloys used deep shouldered bolts or nuts with the same arrangement. Volvo alloys use the same bolts as steel wheels.

Ok well i have been given bad advice then as I ordered a set of bolts for alloy wheels for the s70 but when they arrived the head was much smaller then the ones already on the wheel and was told they won't fit and I don't have alloys on my car, i have steel wheels, the original ones.
Look at both these links

and

They both say bolts for volvo s70 but they different lengths so what will fit the original steel wheels?

The ad with the longer bolt in the pic states that the thread length is 28mm, therefore they have a picture which is grossly incorrect because the pic shows a bolt which has a thread length of at least 55-60mm. Remember 28mm is just over 1.25 inches.

If you mean STEEL wheels, not "standard", they're the same as the alloy wheel stud/lug bolts

hey mate i did say steel wheels in my posts thats why I keep telling people I don't have alloys! have ordered a single bolt so going by what people are saying its impossible to order the wrong bolt aslong as the person selling is selling me a s70 bolt.JRL wrote:If you mean STEEL wheels, not "standard", they're the same as the alloy wheel stud/lug bolts

What year's and model's will fit my 98 S70. I currently have 5 spoke alloy wheels. Got a nasty curb burn that makes the tire shop cringe!
