Hi, today I fix my amplifier. It has one channel that sounds like wind and horrible noise. The problem was one of the ICs.
The model is TDA 1514A
Just that
Good luck
Amplifier 50W
This is the output power amplifier IC (in case you do not know..).The model is TDA 1514A
Spec can be found here:http://www.datasheetcatalog.org/datasheet/philips/TDA1514.pdf
What was the problem?
Any problem with your speaker wire cable, any short in the wiring. Usually it is either too much heat that blows these modules.
By the way have you noticed any thermal grease (or lack thereof) on the heatsink assembly.
Did you have to replace or do some resolder?

Hi jmmxc! Thanks for your information. The problem was only the TDA 1514A. I replaced it and now it works.
This IC was affecting me the rear left speaker and rear rear left twitter. Now I have my 8 speakers working

50 watts is a lot of power for a tube amp, my guitarist has a 15 watt tube amp and is heard over a loud drummer a 200 watt bass amp and another 65 watt guitar amp. I think its good to have the most power as possible so you don't need to upgrade anytime soon. I think that you will get tube warmth at a low volume not necessarily overdrive but thats what the gain is for right?
