Check engine light on

2006 s60 acted like it was going to stall at a light so I hit the gas to bring up the idle,then it was fine.So i look down at the message on the dash and it says[engine system service required]the triangle with the ! is lit up and the check engine light is on.Do I need to go to the dealer? What would cause this? THANKS

Take the car to the dealer or a volvo indy shop that can read the codes, this should tell you what is wrong. As to what it is would be pure speculation at this point.

friends this is the same problem i am to facing and its to difficult for me handle it can any one suggest me the best idea to over come this problem. plz guys help me.

Take your car to autozone and have them read the codes. Come back here and tell us what those code/s are and we can go from there.
