replace hu-401 with hu-603/605/801

Hello,

Maybe someone knows..

Can i replace my audio-system HU-401 with HU-603/605/803?
Is it simple- just to take out the 401 and connect the 603/605/803 instead?
or there might be complications, such as something not working..?

I did a brief Google search and others have done this so apparently it will physically fit and mount in.
The face plate *might* be different depending which model the donor radio came from, but I think it will fit right in.

The connectors may be different depending upon the same.

Once installed you will have to visit your dealer and have the car's ECU programmed to recognize and communicate with the new radio over the canBUS network.
