When I got this car not long ago I knew I would have some things to deal with and I have dealt with a few of them thus far. Now I need some help from the veterans. This car is leaking oil and coolant. It also has some vacuum issues. One q before the pics. What size vacuum hose will I need that connects the turbo to the intake manifold and how do I connect that elbow to the hose? I have seen Jblackburns way he did it but no measurements were given.
Pictures with questions on them :)

The one where you are looking for the part number are the oil cooler lines. You'll need to get them at the dealer. I think I did a write up on those in here. It's almost a fun job, but is indeed where your oil is leaking.

That's where your lower torque buckle should hook up. Without it gear changes will feel terrible, the engine will shoot around in the bay and your other mounts will die very quickly!

See thats what I was thinking and the guy I got it from said he just replaced that part so where the heck is it right? My gear changes are surprisingly smooth actually, it was one reason I got the car, Odd huh, considering I have had three of these 850"s. When I got under there that's what I was thinking though. I will have to get one straight away. I haven't really had anyone reply about pics 1,2,5, and 7. Also, in pic 3 it was mentioned that was a fuel filter. Im still not sure that is what this filter is for considering its plastic and the hose/tubeing running out of it is not reinforced for gasoline as usual.turbozutek wrote:

That filter doesn't look stock, that's for sure. See where the line leads, is it filtering coolant?!

that generic lawn mower fuel filter is there to assure that little pieces of charcoal that can escape the vapor canister do not get into the evaporative system purge valve and make it stick open. Stuck EVAP valves cause check engine light to come on.
Usually these filters do not require service.
#1 Is picturing where the turbo control valve vent hose attaches.
What year model is the car?
Does the plastic hose from MAF to turbo have two fittings like that up in that area?\
#2 nipple should have a hose from EVAP valve. The EVAP valve should have a T and past the T will be a check valve in each line with one line going to intake and the other going to that unused plugged nipple. idling and very low throttle has vaccum in intake and vapors go to intake. Above low throttle the vacuum goes away (turbo boost builds) and the hose just in front of turbo inlet will have faint vacuum and will be able to pull in vapors. Check valves assure the intake doesn't blow boost into the line and when there is vac in intake the other hose will not be allowed to backflow so the vapors are pulled from there instead of canister. In other words, the check valves both should flow TOWARDS engine and not towards the T and evap valve.
#5 I thought the pump was mounted directly on tank with the inlet pushed through a hole. The hose comes through where the filler neck passes through lower front apron and goes over RH strut housing and into firewall to run down RH sill and then up RH D post up to t'gate.
The #6 and #7 pics look to be showing the leakage from those oil cooler hoses. THey will leak where crimped to metal at both ends. Also the o rings on both ends will leak. O rings MUST be replaced when the hoses are done. (note: loosening RH eng mount and lifting engine 1 inch makes this job easier).

Thanks Jimmy57, I will try to decipher what you are saying in pic 1 and 2, that all seems pretty technical if you don't really know what all that means. Im not sure what you mean by evap valves and check valves. Thanks for the suggestion on the engine mount though.

The EVAP valve is the two wire solenoid thing on fan shroud with two 5/16 inch hoses on it.
From that valve the hose on upper side will go towards engine and have a t fitting. on each hose leaving the t there should be a grey round thing that when removed and checked, will only allow flow in one direction.
