Not sure the exact name, but i have to slam my drivers side door a couple times sometimes to get the light under te dash to shut off... i can just see my battery draining :roll:

The odometer gear
I searched previous posts above for the famous odometer gear whose teeth turn yellow and break off... couldn't find it already on the list. :)
1997 855 GLT (Light Pressure Turbo) still going strong. Previous: 1986 240 GL rusted out in '06, 1985 Saab 900T rusted out in '95, 1975 Saab 99 rusted out in '95, 1973 Saab 99 rusted out in '94

Both butt warmer timers in my 96 854t5.
Leaky sunroof.
Ignition coil. Replaced with IPD version, oh my gawd what a difference.
Steering rack.

I was curious as to your issues with your ignition coil on your 96' 854. What kind of symptoms were you having with the factory coil? I' thinking of replacing mine with an IPD version as well, thanks. As well as your symptoms with your steering rack, thanks.

My bad, I was searching for issues w/coil and this post I quoted came up with some others. I didn't realize what this thread was being used for, I apologize for asking questions in this thread. I've read the whole thread through and apologize to everyone for the confusion.
