850 wiper arm problems

The Loctite solution seems to have worked well for me, although I used Loctite Blue. If it ever starts to slip again, I'll clean the splines as suggested by another poster and then use Loctite Red. My biggest concern then would be getting it apart again, but since it's a taper fit, I think a battery terminal puller would pop it apart without any trouble.

On the Los Angeles freeways if your wiper stops wiping and you lose visibility you might wind up with multiple fatalities. I don't think that Loctite is a viable solution due to Safety concerns.

I have a pair of wiper arms from a 95 volvo 850 if anyone is interested..

i upgraded to the s70 arms..
