You may just need heater core o-rings. this happened on my 2001. No heater core needed.

I can not complain about my 01. Although, from what has been beaten into me by others, I am apparently an exception to the rule.

After getting the updated B4 cover installed and doing a drain and fill of the transmission fluid, my slow-to-shift problem has been resolved. Got my heater core o-rings ordered through FCPGroton. Does anyone have any instruction for how to install these? All I can find is these S80 instructions http://volvospeed.com/volvo_repairs_how ... _core.html

It can be accessed Inside the drivers wheel well.

This doesn't really tell me what is is...he's talking transmission issue and a "cover" to fix a shift flare? How does a "cover" improve shifting? thx.

Actually the first R's were launched in 2003 - At least here in Europe
