i spent a few hours cleaning and scrubbing the block, of course there was alot of cleaning that had to be done, make sure you cover/plug the dip stick hole, oil trap ports, as i had not done that, the results is going to be removing the oil pan to remove excess water if any. thats the next step with cleaning the oil pan and oil cooler lines.

while the intake manifold was removed, i took it to a DIY car wash and covered the entire thing with GUNK GEL degreaser, and then blasted it with hot pressurised wash. not bad huh?

I can see that you've left the coupling on the block for the PCV box. This is where much of the crud in the block accumulates so be sure to remove the short hose and scrape out the port where the lower PCV port connects. If you can get a bottle cleaner in there and get it to go 90 deg this will do the trick. You may need to change the oil because some of the crud will drop into it.

Looks like you are headed in the right direction. It's not too many people put that much time & effort into a T6. Good to see.

Be sure to replace the pick-up pipe o ring seal and the two pan o rings as well. That will make sure your oil delivery to that sweet twin turbo six remains constant.

It may be worth your while to replace the valve body with the upgraded one that has been put into use by other manufacturers. Not too sure if the 'box itself saw some upgrades. The valve body is definitely different on GM products.

Perhaps someone can chime in here.

WOW yessss, thank you for reminding me, IM HAVING A HARD TIME WITH THE VACUUM ROUTING AND THE CHECK VALVE DIRECTIONS FROM THE MANIFOLD OUT... i know the bypass valve and the couple of other ones that goes underneath the air filter neck , however the one hose coming out from the intake manifold itself where its divided into 3 pieces, i cant seem to remmeber how i removed it and/or what direction its placed decpite the 2 different hose sizing.... any idea? i have been searching under my hood (decal) and online, i cant seem to get a clear pic/diagram of the vacuum routing and one way check valve direction.... please help !!!! thank you

I'm not really your man for S80s. I have a copy of Vadis and was able to create the docs:

Hope these diagrams help.
