No luck with a search on this subject...
Pertaining to my 2001 V70;
Center brake light is illuminated continuously without the brake pedal depressed. (currently unplugged the nuisance light.)
Volt meter is registering a continuous 12 volt current through the wiring harness (from the right rear fuse box panel) out to the hatchback tailgate. Can anyone shed some specifics as to what to troubleshoot.... perhaps a faulty relay or other such device?
(All breakers inspected and fine, left and right brake lights function as per normal.) Previously had some severed wires in the hatchback / door wiring harness that may have shorted out or damaged something in this particular circuit? Thanks.

Just an F.Y.I. many electrical issues such as the one you describe can be traced to a poor ground connection.
